2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (NIV) The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

We break every tactic and destroy every stronghold that are built by human pride to counter the knowing of God. We captive all thoughts and conquer them to Christ.

The word ‘stronghold’ (Greek: “ochuroma”) is a figurative word that means all forms of arguments, reasons, or opinions that are used by someone to defend his opinions and wishes.

All arguments, reasons, and opinions against the Truth, all of these are the result of the pattern of the world that is caused due to someone’s attention is successfully focused on inputs or physical data that he sees, hears or experiences. And can also be added with the influence of the spirits of the world that sow numerous ideas that are contrary with the mind of Christ.

For someone to realize that there are ‘stronghold’ of mold or contamination from this world, then that person needs to enter into His presence and allow the work of the Spirit and the Word to influence him very strongly. That’s what happened to Isaiah!

He has indeed prophesied from chapters 1-5, but in fact there was still a lot of mixture the Voice of God and the voice of this world in the life of Isaiah. God had to purify Isaiah’s heart and mind from the forms of opinion that were built from the point of view of the common people at that time.

It looks like normal for a person to be shaped by his environment, but it’s not normal for God. Because God couldn’t work with Isaiah to raise up the ‘holy shoot’ if Isaiah himself still had a lot of arguments, reasons, and opinions that came from the Israelites who were acting wickedly at that time.

Isaiah 6:4-8 (NIV) At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.” Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.” Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

In God’s reality we will continue to be cleansed, our part is willing to be molded, taught, and changed. Thus, the Lord will lift us up to be WEAPONS THAT DESTROY WICKEDNESS and at the same time we will function as a LIFE GIVING SPIRIT!

They carry the same heart tendencies (same frequency) so that they can understand what is the voice of God that comes over them. They grow into giants of faith to conquer the world!
