There are several things that the Holy Spirit emphasizes for ME to STILL BELIEVE:
- Father has never designed bad things to happen in our lives.
Doesn’t matter what happens over our lives or around us, His plans and decrees
never change for us.
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
The verse above is asserted again in the book of Psalm 91. I grow to understand, what happens to our lives is caused by what we believe. So if we believe the above principle, then that’s what bounds to happen.
Our life should not be heavily burdened, because it violates the ‘rule of the Kingdom’, and not our portion.
If it is heavily burdened it means we are carrying the burden of the evil one. We have been established to live victoriously, full of joy, and surrounded by peace.
Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV) “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
We are settled to live in His unshakable Kingdom.
“This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Romans 14:17 (NIV) For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, Life is not complicated and not difficult, God has set a straight path of life for us.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.[a]
Isaiah 26:7 (NIV) The path of the righteous is level; you, the Upright One, make the way of the righteous smooth.
Isaiah 35:8-10 (NIV) And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it. No lion will be there, nor any ravenous beast; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there, and those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
Psalm 18:24-26 (NIV) The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight. To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless, to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the devious you show yourself shrewd.
Even if we face a complicated or difficult condition, just make sure our hearts are righteous and be joyful, then God will straighten our path in life!
I learn something, our faith should not comply with situations, circumstances or ‘edit or change’ what we believe (which is the Word) but situations and circumstances should follow what we believe! God’s Word never changes!
Matthew 24:35 (NIV) Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
