Prayer Power: God’s Heart Revealed

We are talking about God’s purpose bringing the congregation to continue learning to interact with the Word is :

1. THROUGH INTERACTION WITH THE WORD, AWARENESS OF THE REALITY OF GOD’S PRESENCE WILL BE BUILT IN THE LIFE OF BELIEVERS.

2. THROUGH THE INTERACTION WITH THE WORD WE WILL RECEIVE SPIRITUAL POSITION THAT IS ALWAYS VICTORIOUS, BECOME STRONG AND ACCURATE BEFORE GOD AND POSITIONED TO REIGN TOGETHER WITH CHRIST (EPHESIANS 1:19-23, PHILIPPIANS 2:5-11).

a. By being perseverance declaring or meditating His Word, we will become a personage that is cautious in decision making.

b. A consistent interaction with the Word will take us to enjoy “life in Christ and Christ is in us”

John 15:4-7 (NIV) Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Realize that Christ is the Living Word Himself. Interacting with the Living Word will make us “enter deeper” in Him, and at the same time the Living Word will become embedded more and etched firmly in our spiritual man.

This is the spiritual condition that we need to naturally to continue to bring forth the fruits of the Kingdom, fruits of the spirit and fruits of righteousness in our daily life (Matthew 13:19-23, Galatians 5:22-23, Hebrews 12:11, 2 Peter 1:5-7).

It is the divine life that ‘we absorb’ from the Living Word that gives us ability to do many great things for God. In other words, the more we interact with the Living Word the more the power of grace will work powerfully in us.

It is His grace that will enable and provide us various potentials, abilities and competencies that we initially didn’t have humanly but we need them in our portion to complete what’s in the Father’s heart or in His agenda on earth.

1 Corinthians 15:10 (NIV) : But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

Through interaction with the Living Word, the prayers that we offer also become so powerful! Through the Word that He has revealed, we come to know the heart and will of the Father. When we pray what’s in God’s heart, our presence will serve as a ‘spiritual portal’ for God to start to act and make it happen.
