Experiencing God’s miraculous work actually is not difficult for us to have every day. It is a normal thing to happen as long as we are willing to live in the identity, function and role in Him.

Know that we are a royal priesthood, where our true habitat is in His throne room. Thus, our prayers are no longer ordinary prayers, but bring the powerful words of God. These are the prayers that can change the impossible into possible, from nothing comes to existence. Therefore, we become witness from God’s greatness that is extraordinary and miraculous.

1 Peter 2:9 (NIV) : But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

The Holy Spirit again drives me to pay attention to the lifestyle of a priest:

  1. The priest cleans the lampstand in the Lord’s sanctuary and makes sure there is enough oil for the lamp to fully burn, then cleans the dirt on the wick to make sure the fire can burn properly.

That’s what I have to pay attention to every morning, which is to make sure my spirit is burning with the fire of love for God.

Proverbs 20:27 (NIV) : The human spirit is[a] the lamp of the Lord that sheds light on one’s inmost being.

Romans 12:11 (NIV) : Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

Building spiritual man every morning will help us cleanse our hearts to stay clean and pure from all kinds of contamination and pressure. This is our spiritual responsibility every morning that we must do joyfully. It is not easy to remain consistent in praying in tongues, jumping or cheering in the morning until our spirits are on fire. But like it or not that is what will make our lives a portal of

God’s miraculous deeds!

There is a strong urge inside me to do priesthood duties frantically. There is a different urgency than before. The birth of a revival will start with people who are pursuing God frantically in prayer!

  • Replacing old bread with new bread at the serving table (image or symbol from God’s word).

Matthew 4:4 (NIV) : Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’[a]”. Somehow I can sense the spirit that is hunger and thirst of the Word is burning further, unbearable and unstoppable to read and dig deeper the word of God.

The Spirit seemed teaching me firmly: If men can devote themselves to other things wholeheartedly and even lost track of time, why can’t they do the same for the Word? Once again the Spirit is correcting the inclination of my heart.

For external things, humans are willing to toil and trouble, but they don’t want to pay the price to understand the Word. It’s time for things to turn around, I am a new creation and my life is determined by His word. So I will be even more infatuated in reading, meditating and declaring His word. My life belongs to the Word itself. So I will give entirely to the word that is in power.

  • The priest puts incense on the altar of incense as a picture of the prayer and worship of a priest who serves God.

I feel that the Holy Spirit is giving me a new passion to pray and worship that is completely new and fresh. We must respond to this because He will encourage us to have special hours of prayer and worship. But at the same time, wherever we are, the spirit of prayer and worship will keep on burning in us. This is a connectedness that cannot be broken and makes us function as His temple.

Follow every direction and urge of the Spirit to worship and pray. Because God’s miraculous works will manifest through us, touching and delivering the lives of Acts 16:25-26 (NIV) About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.

Revelation 21:3-4 (NIV) And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[a] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
