Everyone’s daily life, filled and built from every decision one makes. If he makes good and right decisions, his life will definitely ‘keep going up’. On the contrary, if he makes the wrong decisions, then his life will surely ‘go down’.
The majority of the decisions that people make are based on the calculation of profit and loss. which one is good and bad or even based on which one is good or better.
All types of these considerations only confine or imprison us to various physical data and facts! In fact, this is the fundamental reason why our daily lives are constantly affected or shaken by what is happening around us!
God wants us to live only from His words, not from consideration or knowledge of what is good and bad or even from what is good and better!
Genesis 2:16-17 (NIV) And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”
If we continue to make decisions based on the ‘knowledge of right and wrong’ we will definitely ends up in death. So, He wants us to start building our life of faith!
Romans 1:17 (NIV) For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last,[a] just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”[b]
Galatians 2:20 (TLB) I have been crucified with Christ: and I myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me. And the real life I now have within this body is a result of my trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Faith in our lives will continue to be built when we believe every word we receive! (Romans 1:17 – growing from faith and to faith).
- · By faith we are connected to the reality of the Kingdom (Romans 14:17)
- · By faith we will overcome this world (1 John 5:4).
- · By faith we receive all answers to prayer (Mark 11:23-24).
- · By faith we live a life that pleases God (Hebrews 11:6, Romans 14:3).
- · By faith we are justified before God (He defends us because of what we believe –
- Romans 4:16, Daniel 3:16-30).
By building a life of faith, like Abraham who lived from the word, we will also have
this world as God promised Abraham.
Romans 4:13 (TLB) It is clear, then, that God’s promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and his descendants was not because Abraham obeyed God’s laws but because he trusted God to keep his promise.
