Isaiah 8:11-13 (NIV) This is what the Lord says to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to
follow the way of this people: “Do not call conspiracy everything this people calls a conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it. The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread.
There is a voice that keeps resounding in my mind: “DRAW A FIRM LINE”. That voice deeply cuts my mind and injects a mighty power. As long as there is ‘compromise or agreement’ with what the world says, then our lives will only be a ‘tool’ for voices from hell to influence the lives of many people.
The Holy Spirit confirms in my heart: Be careful with the ‘changes of the tendencies of your heart, guard it with all vigilance for from it flow the springs of life. Never ‘comply’ to the mannerisms and philosophies of this world. For in these last days those who are holy will become more holy, and those who are vile will become more vile. ‘The type of truth that is built on crooked inclinations of the heart’ will be more cherished by many people.
Revelation 22:11 (NIV) Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be
vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to
be holy.”
Proverbs 16:25 (NIV) There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.
I learned something to live in the midst of a generation whose hearts are crooked:
- We need to ALWAYS BE REIGNED BY THE PRESENCE OF GOD AND HIS
WORD.
There is no option, the lifestyle of pursuing the reality of God and His Word in
prayer and reading the Word must be thicker. That’s what will be the
differentiator, and that’s the firm line that should get bolder. This is avoided by
many believers, especially by the younger generations.
They don’t want to be ‘too persistent in pursuing God and His Word’, but on the
other hand they continue to associate and compromise with this world. DRAW A
FIRM LINE, for God will bring forth a HOLY BUD from among them!
- Never comply with the demeanor of this world.
If we don’t despise what this world is showing, it means we have lost our love for
God. Always guard the heart that loves God, make sure that heart continues to
burn! Remember, God is not asking us to do difficult things, He just wants our
hearts to be attached to Him! That is the essence of our life as believers. Never
shift from that essence.
Deuteronomy 6:5 (NIV)
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your
strength.
John 15:4,7 (NIV)
4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it
must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it
will be done for you. - Decline the intimidation and fear of the propaganda system or the deception of
the life’s system that the world is launching.
Look, this world is threatening us with death. So, we will be forced to enter the
Babylonian system of life that never believes in what God says in order to
survive.
We will be forced to pursue this world’s version of success! The world will make
us lose our identity as children of God.
You know, as children of God we only need the reality of God and His Word. Just
focus on that, then we will rule and reign on this earth only by FAITH! Never fear
death, because we are ordained to live eternal life and reign with Him. Do not
shift from the true focus of our lives. The world will always fail, but His Kingdom
will always remain and unshakeable!!
