Deuteronomy 6:10-12 (NKJV) “So it shall be, when the Lord your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build, houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant—when you have eaten and are full— then beware, lest you forget the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
The verse above is God’s way of caring for the Israelites! There is no element of ‘hard work, labor, let alone sweat’. People who do not understand will ‘consider this as laziness’, perhaps even a ‘hallucination of life’ that is impossible for man to experience. Because it doesn’t make sense, and ‘seems’ UNFAIR for those who are serious about pursuing external things!
For us to experience this verse:
1. Willingness to get rid of all the concepts of life in this world that have been molding us for so long.
What is the principle of this world? Hard work, making money, and reaching success! That’s the key to getting the ‘symbols’ of success!
2. Continue to consistently LOVE GOD!
I learned something, that God does not allow us to follow the pattern and behavior of this world’s life! Because we have different principles and ways of life, which is to live by FAITH or BELIEF.
Isaiah 8:11-13 (NKJV) For the Lord spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying: “Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’ Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. The Lord of hosts, Him you shall hallow; Let Him be your fear.
Habakkuk 2:4 (NKJV) “Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him; but the just shall live by his faith.
Romans 1:17 (NKJV) For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
Surprisingly, we prefer and believe in the life that the world has to offer! It’s easier to be difficult! When I write this, I laugh, because we are so ‘foolish’ all this time. God has given us a good and light life, we actually reject it! Ridiculous!
The choice is now in our hands. Do you want to experience a God who differentiates our lives in stark contrast? Or is our existence no different from the others?
Choose a life only from the Word. That is an unshakable life. No need to be afraid of what people say, just believe in God!!
