I feel like I was made to think by the Holy Spirit and had to redefine the meaning of a hero of faith, rise in the Spirit, and defeat the world. It turns out that my understanding is still in the basic layers related to ‘aspects of everyday life’. Of course, it is not wrong, but there is something deeper that God wants. I can sense that God wants me to increase my measurement of faith and LIVE ONLY FROM WHAT GOD SAYS TO DESTROY THIS WORLD SYSTEM WITH THE POWER OF PRAYER AND GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY.

Don’t forget about Moses, from an outwardly person to a person who is connected with supernatural things and carries the mandate and His strong sovereign power. Likewise, Elijah, a man who lives a parallel living, he is on earth but at the same time in the throne room. Elisa, Elijah’s servant, is also connected to the same dimension, so he performs miraculous deeds. Likewise, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego who are indeed at the center of the Babylonian system, their connection with the supernatural dimension and God’s sovereignty is very strong.

I come to understand why all these times we haven’t really experienced how God’s mighty deeds use our lives the same way just as He used the heroes of faith in the past. The answer is: Because we have not been connected yet to the same dimension! Why aren’t we connected yet? BECAUSE WE DON’T ASK SUCH THINGS TO GOD!

Our minds were ‘successfully made outwardly by the Babylonian system’ and the way we think is made the same like the way the world thinks. So, when God’s Word confirmsthat BY FAITH WE OVERCOME THE WORLD, what comes to our mind are OUTWARD WAYS. As a result, there are always LIMITATIONS!

Now is the time for us to rearrange the definition of FAITH! I want to JUST BELIEVE IN HIM, FOLLOW HIS DIRECTIONS, AND HAVE THE COURAGE OF FAITH TO ASK FOR SUPRANATURAL THINGS!!

John 14:12-14 (NIV) Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

As long as we are still ‘friends of the world’, which means we believe in what the world believes in, think externally and humanly, then it is impossible for us to defeat the world! This is the time when our minds are surrounded in His divinity! Observe the way Gideon thinks!

Judges 6:11-13 (NIV) The angel of the Lord came and sat down under the oak in Ophrah that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, where his son Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress to keep it from the Midianites. When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you,

mighty warrior.” “Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all his wonders that our ancestors told us about when they said, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up out of Egypt?’ But now the Lord has abandoned us and given us into the hand of Midian.”

1. Gideon thought that Israel’s condition at that time was not normal where the Midianites conditioned them to be constantly threatened, afraid, and worried (living in a cave of hiding)! Gideon knew that this condition was not the characteristic of a nation with God!

2. Gideon directed his heart and mind to God who brought Israel out of Egypt in an spectacular and miraculous way.

Gideon asked for a supernatural event that happened tens even hundreds of years ago to happen again, and that was Gideon’s measure of faith! It came to pass according to what he believed, with only 300 people, he fought against the Midianites!

The question for us today: do we still think it’s reasonable today’s condition and the world’s system that radiates fear ? Where is the direction of our minds and hearts aiming ? Do we still think in the worldly ways to defeat the world ?

I decide to direct my heart and mind to God who thousands of years ago moved across the earth in a mighty way! Jesus, Elijah, Elisha, Moses, Gideon, and other faith figures, their stories have become ‘portals to the dimension of God’s sovereignty’. I want to see, experience, and repeat God’s mighty deeds that they have experienced to defeat the world today! I believe in it, amen!
