This message is a continuation of yesterday’s message.
We are discussing about the work of the word and Spirit that is building our identity in Christ! Isaiah 40:3-4 (NIV) A voice of one calling: “In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord[a]; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain.
When we pray with perseverance for the verses of the word that the Holy Spirit speaks for the current spiritual season, we will discover how the reality of God has become evident. There is spiritual access that all this time has been “closed” to us, “because the coming of the word” it becomes ‘open’ for us to access!
The verse above confirms that in the journey of our daily life that is like the desert or wilderness, far from life and likeness. Because the desert always describe a harsh life, dry and full of struggle, with unpredictable ways, will experience the visit of God!
There will be work of the word and the Spirit in such a way in the lives of believers who pray with perseverance the verses of the prophetic word. Even the prophecy of the prophet Isaiah above, it is emphasized that the life of each individual is different – some are being overcome by disappointment, failure, bitterness, full of problems or life struggles, sickness and so on.
Or there are also those who are enjoying a life full of joy and abundance like being on a mountain. They will experience various works of the Word and the Spirit, which will make the life of every believer in the same divine standard-the standard of life that is set by the Father Himself to be lived by every believer.
Only by praying the prophetic verses that the Spirit is delivering to His church, we as believers will experience the opening of a spiritual access that makes the work of God’s sovereign hand prevails in our daily lives!
Believe it, with divine and miraculous way that is unexpected by our human logic, God will open a way for those who are experiencing life’s deadlock. God will give new hope to those who are hopeless. He will strengthen and guide those who are weak and discouraged. He will heal those who are sick. There will be a series of miracles and wonders in the life of every believer who gives himself to be connected to the dimension of the prophetic word!
I am sure that the various pronouncements from the word and the work of the Holy Spirit that happens in the lives of believers will make them firmer with their identity in Christ. There is a victorious spiritual position that they enjoy in their daily lives.
Psalm 32:6-7 (NIV) Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them. You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.
