The Holy Spirit continues to urge me to pray for the congregation who are having
certain challenges and struggles.
This is what I feel in prayer:
- The work of the Spirit and the Word keeps on working to elevate the spiritual position of the church so that it reigns together with Christ.
The congregation will rise in the power of prayer, much stronger than before. I see
soldiers that God raises up. A group of very strong and authoritative troops. They no
longer fight in the way that ‘soldiers’ usually do, but as how generals fight that’s, that’s them, just by declaring! - There is a very strong calmness and peace ruling and reigning in the life of the
congregation.
So, no matter how big the storm is, it cannot frighten them. Instead, they become
people who believe in the Word very easily, that their path in life is straightened out by God. The focus of their eyes is directed only on God, not on the storm. This is what makes them live in the unshakable world of God! - All forms of mourning within and around the congregation are being replaced by
eternal joy.
The spirit of death that wants to eat away at the ‘body’ through multiple negative
emotions and moods can no longer come close. There are an abundance of joy and
overflowing gratitude. Not because of external factors, but because God’s reality is
increasingly evident, so that the congregation will live their daily lives with joy. - All the ‘awful’ things that happen in the life of the congregation will be turned upside
down by God to bring goodness.
Romans 8:28 (NIV) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.
Big challenges or tough struggles that are faced and considered to have ‘complicated’ solutions, will be resolved in a simple way (steps of obedience in hearing God’s voice). - There is a spirit that loves God which is being given by the Holy Spirit at a much
stronger degree, so that the congregation will say things just like ‘Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego’.
Daniel 3:17-18 (NIV) If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us[a] from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve
your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
This kind of love for God is what will make the congregation more united to or
resembles God. So that God’s divinity will appear further in the daily life of the
congregation. People will see that it is no longer them who live, but Christ who is in and
with them. They will bear witness that God is real and He is still working! Amen.
