The coming of the Holy Spirit to the disciples in the Jerusalem upper room had a tremendous impact on their lives. Just imagine the conditions after Jesus died and resurrected, the emotional turmoil, social turmoil, and even the political turmoil occurred so intensely. The disciples are under tremendous pressure. It is not an easy situation to continue to follow God’s will. Because there is a big risk if they dare to testify about the resurrection of Christ.
I can imagine the atmosphere and conditions at that time were very tense. Not all disciples want to continue the existing destiny journey. Three hundred and eighty of those who saw and heard Jesus speak after the resurrection chose to ‘part ways’ from the one hundred and twenty disciples who remained in the Jerusalem upper room.
The disciples responded to the depressed condition by obeying God’s command to remain in Jerusalem. As a result, when the Holy Spirit poured out on them, all the shackles of pressure, intimidation, and fear of speaking out loud were destroyed by the mighty power of the Holy Spirit.
The dynamics or explosion of the work of the Spirit made them speak loudly in tongues, and even Peter, who once denied Jesus from his mouth, now from the same mouth comes testimony about the existence of Jesus who is God. With courage the disciples spoke out both through their prayers, apostolic study, and also their testimonies. This resulted in an explosion of revival that could not be contained.
Acts 1:8 (NKJV) But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
It is this dynamic of power that we must maintain and improve. Make sure our voices come out loud when praying, worshiping, and responding to the Word which is the result of an explosion that occurs inside! In everyday life, don’t stay silent. Speak the Word and witness God’s deeds upon us.
We must not tolerate the world situation forcing us into silence! Do not allow the dynamics of the Spirit within us to be extinguished. It’s time for us to return to the original dynamics. We are a people who are radical, enthusiastic, dynamic, responsive, aggressive towards divine things.
The inward eternity must continue to increase! Because what is inside us will attract the coming of various divine dimensions. If there is eternity within us, then HIS MAGICAL KINGDOM will come on this earth. We will experience supernatural things that come in our daily lives!
John 4:14 (NKJV) but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
John 7:38-39 (NKJV) He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
There is no longer any tolerance for the silence that sits in our mouths. Discard and get rid of. There is a spirit behind all the silence regulations that have existed in society through the existing pandemic. Get rid of the spirit of fear that has entered the subconscious. It’s not normal. That’s a lie!
It’s time for the truth to be revealed! Use our mouths to express the spiritual explosion that is inside. When eternity is in the heart, heavenly beings will come upon this earth manifesting supernatural deeds.
