Guard the inclination of the heart to do what is right and pursue the reality of God’s presence. It is the inclination of the heart that will ‘bring God’s sovereign intervention’ in our daily lives
Inevitably, we must realize that there are attempts by the ‘evil one’ who uses various situations and circumstances to steal, kill and destroy us. However, if we continue to condition our hearts to want to do what is right and pursue God, then God’s faithfulness will become very real. No matter how bad the situation is, God will change it for good.
Isaiah 51:1-3 (NKJV) “Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were hewn, and to the hole of the pit from which you were dug. Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; for I called him alone, and blessed him and increased him.” For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness will be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody.
So, our standard of living should be rejoice, joy, and be filled with a spirit of worship. Beyond that it’s not fair! If we feel that we have lost this, immediately use our mouths to speak, pray in the spirit and declare the Word until our spirits are uplifted again and the flow of worship flows profusely. God has given us power in our mouths to change our world!
Isaiah 51:16 (NKJV) And I have put My words in your mouth; I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, that I may plant the heavens, lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, ‘You are My people.’
Psalms 8:2 (NKJV) Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, because of Your enemies, that You may silence the enemy and the avenger.
Proverbs 18:20-21 (NKJV) A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; from the produce of his lips he shall be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Again, the Holy Spirit emphasizes that there are so many believers who live under pressure, intimidation, fear, and worry caused by ‘THEIR MOUTH’ themselves. They keep saying bad things! That is the same as ‘declaring a negative faith’, as a result ‘death comes’ and undermines their lives. As believers, they should actively speak the Word, because this is what will bring the DIVINE DIMENSION OF LIFE which automatically gets rid of the various actions of the enemy within us.
Proverbs 4:23-27 (NKJV) Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you. Let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or the left; remove your foot from evil.
So, the key to turning our world which is like a desert into a garden of Eden, actually lies in the ROLE OF OUR MOUTH. Did you know, when we respond to the coming of the WORD of GOD in a service by saying out loud, “Yes and Amen”, it can actually change our lives? Many people are very passive in listening to the Word, they are only silent when God’s promises come upon them. As a result, they lose ‘the power of service that can change their lives’.
Even though it is very clear, when we respond to the Word by saying “AMEN”, then all that God has provided for us will come and become real to us. The Eden that He has provided we will enjoy again. It is there (the reality of His presence or Zion) that we rule and reign. So, don’t be passive, use our mouths to SPEAK THE WORD in any situation!
