1 Timothy 1:18-20 (NKJV) This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck, of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I delivered to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme.

There is a specific assignment that Paul gave to Timothy, which is to protect the people from teaching that is different from what Paul conveyed to the people!

1 Timothy 1:3-4 (NKJV) As I urged you when I went into Macedonia—remain in Ephesus that you may charge some that they teach no other doctrine, nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith.

Paul saw that Timothy was able to carry out this assignment because he had built the same faith and life!

2 Timothy 3:10 (NKJV) But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance.

This is certainly not easy, but that is God’s call that is much higher than what we think and imagine. However, by the work of the Spirit and the Word that continued to work in Timothy’s life, he had the strength to complete his calling. Timothy experienced the unstoppable power of God’s Word.

2 Timothy 1:6 (NKJV) Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

Isaiah 55:10-11 (NKJV) “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

From the things above I learned something, it turns out that our part in daily life is quite simple: Just make sure that our spirits are burning with the work of the Spirit and the Word every day! Don’t be distracted by anything, because that’s the key to completing God’s call with full power!

Anyway, direct our hearts to keep working to make sure our spirits are stirred up by the work of the Spirit and the Word. Make sure we are attached and have a living fellowship with Him every day. Pray, worship and read the Word! Do it all until our spirits are burning!

Becoming a spiritual child of a spiritual father is not a choice and a desire, or something to strive for, but a mandate and destiny from God. It’s the same thing with the physical child. The child cannot choose who the father is, and the father cannot choose who the child is. So as a…

In prayer, I see the world is in all of God’s fist or hand. Then God said: “Don’t be afraid and don’t worry because everything is in My control!” Then I know for sure that God is the Father, and I am His child. So there really is nothing to worry about and be afraid…

“Interest” is an important thing for someone to be able to do something with all his heart. If someone is “not interested”, no matter how you force him to do something, surely the result won’t be optimal. The “interest” that the Holy Spirit primarily will fix in the life of believer is interest in liking…
