Cleansing and Manifesting: God’s Desire for His People
There is a prophecy that is being fulfilled in the lives of believers these days:
Isaiah 4:4-6 (NASB1995) When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and purged the bloodshed of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and the spirit of burning, then the Lord will create over the whole area of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, even smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory will be a canopy. There will be a shelter to give shade from the heat by day, and refuge and protection from the storm and the rain.
The Holy Spirit continues to work among believers as the ‘spirit of judgment’ and the ‘spirit of burning’. The Spirit of judgment speaks of the work of the Holy Spirit that searches and exposes the facets of the lives of believers that are still inaccurate, and not following God’s standard. The purpose is none other than to bring every believer to continue to be perfected in the power of the Word and the Spirit so that they become more divine, accurate, and pleasing to the Father’s heart.
Remember, if believers long for more dimensions of heaven’s glory, it means that more human, worldly, or fleshly aspects that are still entrenched must be eradicated! The judging spirit will play an important role here. What believers must do when the spirit of judgment is at work is to respond with repentance!
Meanwhile, the spirit of burning speaks of the work of the Holy Spirit that changes the nature of one’s life!
The change in nature that should be experienced by everyone who has the work of the spirit of burning is described by Paul as follows:
Ephesians 4:28 (NASB1995) He who steals must steal no longer; but rather he must labor, performing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share with one who has need.
Drastic and dramatic life changes must occur in the lives of believers! Through cleansing, purifying, and rebuilding our daily lives, we will experience the manifestation of the reality of God’s glory happening for real!
God’s heart desires that each of His people have the manifestation of the reality of His power and glory!
Every time believers are of the same mind and pray or call on the name of God, there will be a manifestation of God’s glorious reality.
Get ready, the reality of God will again be manifested truly for believers and through the lives of believers!
