I realize that we need to earnestly ask for the same quality of heart as the Bereans had (Acts 17:10-15). I call it the BEST SUPER HEART GROUND QUALITY. Once God’s Word is delivered, then the seed of the Kingdom immediately grows rapidly, is strong, and produces heavy fruit.

When I contemplate about the quality of SUPER BEST HEART SOIL, the Holy Spirit specifically explains a few things:

1. The Holy Spirit highlights the name Sopater, he is one of the Berea congregation who is ‘not afraid of losing his life’ with Paul in completing God’s agenda (Acts 20:1-4).

This is an example of a person with the best quality of heart soil. From the visible output, He immediately united with Paul and followed Paul, even willing to lose his life with Paul. Internally, he immediately finished with his ego and merged with God’s agenda in Paul. There is no longer my agenda, my vision, my goal, it is completely DEAD TO SIN and ALIVE ONLY TO GOD.

There was no struggle for Paul to instill the principles of truth in his life. He had a life that is upright in the truth. His life was simple (no ups and downs), straight, and continued to do God’s will. He didn’t slant left and right, but he was FOCUSED!

So, the first characteristic of the ground of the best heart is death from self and his life is focused only on God’s agenda which is in the spiritual father.

2. There is something interesting about the MEANING OF THE NAME SOPATER, in Greek ‘Sōpatros’, which means: “SAVIOR OF HIS FATHER”!

That is what I call the ORIGINAL or GENUINE NATURE OF A TRUE CHILD. He will stand with his father – beside his father! In fact, he will become a sharp shield and sword to destroy enemies in battle! We must understand that our battle is not against flesh and blood.

Therefore, our spiritual position must continue to grow and become more and more authoritative. We need to focus on digging into the Word conveyed by our spiritual father (continue to maintain the Berea congregation’s perseverance mentality). That will make the Holy Spirit elevate us to one conviction and automatically become more united with the existence of God and the spiritual father (1 Corinthians 6:17, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Ephesians 4:11-16).

This condition will keep our spirits alert in all situations and circumstances, somehow, we can be aware and even know when a battle that can ‘endanger’ our spiritual father is taking place. We will be encouraged by the Holy Spirit to pray and fight in the spirit to maintain victory! Even outwardly, we will become guardians of our spiritual parents and also a spiritual house. We won’t let any danger come to attack!!

3. Characteristics of the SUPER BEST heart ground is written clearly in Psalm 1.

Psalm 1:1-3 (ERV) Great blessings belong to those who don’t listen to evil advice, who don’t live like sinners, and who don’t join those who make fun of God. Instead, they love the Lord’s teachings and think about them day and night. So they grow strong, like a tree planted by a stream — a tree that produces fruit when it should and has leaves that never fall. Everything they do is successful.

a. His delight for associating with God (associating with the work of the Spirit and the Word).

b. Being fond of the Word and even being ‘addicted’ to the Word, his mind is always seeking and contemplating the Word, there is total or complete dependence on the Word.

c. Look at the chapter above, and notice the word “THEY”.

So, it’s not an individual life, but a corporate one. The best qualities of the ground of the heart are people who are solid, harmonious, full of peace, and focused on completing the agenda that God has set in the spiritual house (Philippians 2). It is to them that God sends His blessings (Psalm 133). The Word of eternal life will be very abundant in their midst and ready to flow to restore the lives of many.

Philippians 2:14-16 (TPT) Live a cheerful life, without complaining or division among yourselves. For then you will be seen as innocent, faultless, and pure children of God, even though you live in the midst of a brutal and perverse culture. For you will appear among them as shining lights in the universe, HOLDING OUT THE WORDS OF ETERNAL LIFE.

d. They will ensure that the flow of living water within them continues to gush profusely every day.

The lifestyle of building spiritual man becomes a culture in their lives. So, that there is no word ‘dry’, but full of life flow. Thus, the ground of the heart becomes SUPER BEST! EACH TIME THE SEED OF THE WORD IS SOWN, IMMEDIATELY HAS STRONG ROOTS, GROWS RAPIDLY, AND BEARS FRUITS!!
