GOD’S Ingredient : The Breath of GOD

Basically, in the life of every human being there is a ‘God’s ingredient’ – the breath of God, this is the element that makes man aware that they need the reality of God and connectedness or dependence on God (Genesis 2:7). This element is also what makes man ‘search’ for the reality of God.

This element of ‘needing God’ is what the devil tries to keep ‘hoarding or burying’ through various preoccupations, negative emotions, traumatic events and various other forms of distraction.

So, when the Holy Spirit moves, He ‘revives’ the ‘need for God’ in the lives of existing people. The aim is none other than for them to ‘cry out’ to God.

Romans 10:13 (NKJV) For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Pay attention to the verse above, everyone who calls on the NAME of the LORD will be saved.

Don’t misunderstand the term the NAME of the LORD in that verse with the NAME of YAHWEH or the Messianic movement that is currently rife.

Isaiah 52:6 (NKJV) Therefore My people shall know My name; therefore they shall know in that day that I am He who speaks: ‘Behold, it is I.’ ”

The word “My name”, in Hebrew, shêm, can be translated as follows:

a. Reputation, fame, glory

b. Memorials, monuments

In other words, the ‘knowledge’ of the name of the LORD is a ‘spiritual monument’ that is ‘built’ by certain people who experience the reality of God in certain conditions in their lives.

The term that the Bible writes about the NAME of the LORD always refers to the MANIFESTATION OF THE STATEMENT OF GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY WHICH INTERVENTIONS AND ANSWERS THE LIFE STRUGGLES THAT ARE FACING BY CERTAIN PEOPLE.

Pay attention to the following verses:

• Genesis 12:7-8, The Creator of heaven and earth introduces Himself as Yahweh, which means, the existing One, God the source, essence, beginning of all things.

• Genesis 14:17-24, The Creator of the heavens and the earth reveals Himself with the title El Elyon, which means, the Most High, referring to God who has power or sovereignty over the entire universe – “Abraham, you triumphed against these kings because I have made you victorious.

• Genesis 16:6-13, The angel of the Lord who revealed Himself to Hagar was called El Roi, which means God who sees me and cares for me. Regardless of the unfair treatment we experience, God will continue to give us the ability to do the right thing.

• Genesis 17:1-2, The Creator of heaven and earth calls Himself by the calling of El Shadday, which means, God Almighty – “Abraham, by you living accurately, continuously connected to My sovereign power, I will act to help you and fulfill or achieve the fulfillment of the promises that I give it to you.”

• Exodus 3:13-14, The Creator of the heavens and the earth revealed Himself to Moses by calling Ehyeh-Asyer-Ehyeh or El Hayah, which means, God will be the source of the solution for every situation or condition you face.

This revelation made Moses always experience breakthroughs, solutions and ways out of every problem he had to face in his efforts to bring Israel out of Egypt.

Use the verses above as material for our prayers, because through these verses we will be connected to the reality of God’s existence and we will begin to experience various wonders or miracles with Him.

The experience with God that we experience, makes us ‘know the name of the Lord’ personally. The living testimony that we have and tell others is the ‘gospel’ or good news. This is what will make those who are in trouble, depressed or experiencing struggles begin to feel the ‘need for God’ and make them cry out to ‘the name of God’.

I am sure, in the context of the revival that will occur in Indonesia. We will see how believers who are connected to God’s reality will bring changes in the lives of those who interact with them, even in the context of their daily activities.

What they receive from God and they have in their spirit, will be the solution for the lives of those who interact with them.
