1 Peter 5:7-11 (NIV) Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.
Pay close attention to the verse above, it is the evidence there is an INTERACTION between the SPIRITUAL REALM and the PHYSICAL REALM. Our existence as human beings in the physical realm is greatly influenced by the SPIRIT REALM.
Why is it like that? Because essentially our existence as humans are spiritual beings (John 4:24, Genesis 1:27-28). So of course it can be easily influenced by various spiritual dimensions.
2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV) For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
The decision to be influenced ‘by whom’, plays an important role. If our heart’s inclination is still to self love, the love of money, and the love of the world, then soon numerous works of the ‘evil’ will come to manifest their natures through our lives. Our lives will be destroyed and used to destroy other people’s lives.
Therefore, it is very important for each of us to build strong DETERMINATION so that we only interact with the work of the Spirit and the Word until we become mature and fully grown.
Galatians 4:1-3 (NIV) What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. The heir is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father. So also, when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world.
How can we possibly win the war with the spirits of the world if our inclinations are still directed to this world?
Today I am determined to always love God and only interact with Him! This is the key for us to live in the DEVIL FREE ZONE and live in GOD’S WORLD!!#ILoveGod
