Isaiah 40:3-5 (NIV):

“A voice of one calling: ‘In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.'”

Furthermore, as I prayed over this verse, I saw a drastic and dramatic transformation take place in the dry desert as a result of the power from the highest place. The desert became a MILITARY BASE OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

I saw that the place was filled with activity from warrior angels! On the other hand, there were believers who were trained and equipped to become strong warrior soldiers. A spring emerged and became a clear river, a source of life. Soon, I saw many people flocking to seek protection.

The weather in that place was very cool during the day and gave warmth at night. The Lord’s provision was truly evident there, as the food never ran out. Even various fruit trees appeared on their own without anyone planting them (daily needs were no longer a struggle). I felt that this was a very heavenly military base where God reigns as the Prince of Peace. There was no sense of tension within it, only peace that surpasses all understanding.

Furthermore, the Holy Spirit affirmed: “I will transform the condition of the hearts of believers, which were once dry and a place for the devil to manifest himself, into a place full of the river of life where the peace of the Lord is present.”

Then, the following verses emerged in my heart:

Matthew 12:43 (NIV): “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it.”

Psalm 46:4-7 (NIV):

4 “There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.

5 God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.

6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts.

7 The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.”

Isaiah 51:3 (NIV): “The Lord will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.”

This is the true meaning of REIGNING PEACE. Our understanding of peace has always been calm, but actually it is AGGRESSIVE in nature. We used to think that peace is defensive, but it is not, it attacks!

I feel that we will face anything with a smile, calmness, peace, and even a dance of joy! That is the characteristic of our being, which used to be a barren place (a place where the devil dwells), but is now the TENT OF GOD, a place where God reigns! From within us, a stream of joy will radiate, touching the lives of many people and bringing them to the presence of God! Amen!
