Never assume that it’s normal if the condition of our spirit dies out and the way we respond to the Word becomes less aggressive than usual. It’s a sign that the ‘world’ is trying to mold us to be passive in following the work of the Spirit and the Word!

Especially during the pandemic, we are ‘molded’ to be a person who only look at the screen and stay still! This mold cannot continue to be left in us. We have to dismantle and get rid of it, especially until it makes us doubt the power of the Word and our mouths become shackled not to speak the Word. If this continue to be allowed, we will be just like the priest Zechariah.

Luke 1:19-20 (NIV) The angel said to him, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been

sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news. And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their appointed time.”

I feel that God is trying to restore the true dynamics and aggressiveness of His people in responding to God’s Word and reality! For those who want to be recovered from ‘spiritual muteness’ the Holy Spirit will move aggressively and guide and train each person to be radical, enthusiastic, dynamic, aggressive and responsive.

The words of our mouth are weapons, and our words carry the spiritual dynamics that are within. There is power in every word that comes from the work of the Spirit within (Acts 1:8). So, if this mouth is successfully being silenced so as not to speak or flow the work of the Spirit, then our lives will be drawn by this world to become more humane.

Romans 10:9-11 (NIV) If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God

raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (NIV) For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.

It’s time for us to use our mouths to shout and blow away all the ‘pandemic moldings’ and religious spirits! Dismantle all the information that goes into the subconscious that has been making us afraid and silent! Use God’s Word as a material of declaration that breaks down walls of barriers in knowing God!

It’s only natural for us to be aggressive individuals towards the Word and have a blazing and burning spirit. Don’t be silent, don’t allow to be silenced, and don’t accept the spirits of the world. Make sure we associate and express the work of the Spirit from within!

Romans 12:11 (NIV) Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
