Don’t take for granted the devotion and reading of the Word with a heart that is thirsty and hungry for the reality of God, as well as praying and declaring verses of the Word. Because all of that will build awareness:
1. That God’s Word is not just ‘words’, but is a PERSON.
So, when we fellowship with His Word, an awareness of the reality of God Himself will be awakened in a real way. Even the awakened awareness will be such that we can feel His reality before us explaining or revealing the truth of the Word. And that makes our spirits burn!
Luke 24:32 (NKJV) And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”
2. That the Word is the First, the Last, and also the Living.
Revelation 1:17-18 (NKJV) And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
In this life we have nothing to fear, everything is in God’s control. Even death, which is the most frightening ‘scourge’ for many humans, no longer has power over our lives.
Even by the Word, death is no longer powerful. Death has been swallowed up in victory. So naturally the days of our lives are filled with a victorious spirit!
3. Everything has been made by the Word!
The Holy Spirit is constantly stretching my capacity or measure of faith. He said that through our existence He would perform great deeds that have never existed and have never happened on this earth. And those great deeds will be created by the Word!
Genesis 34:10 (NKJV) And He said: “Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.
Get ready, the days ahead of us are very powerful. In fact, we will do a greater deed than what Jesus did!
John 14:12 (NKJV) “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
There will be many demonstrations of creative miracles that will astonish the hearts of many, and make them worship the living God! We will enter the days of miracles! It’s getting closer, persevere in God’s Word!
4. There is a different kind of life in His Word, which is God’s world.
It is there that another law applies, namely the law of the Spirit and life. Where obedience and words will play a very important role. And in His world, we will rule and reign on this earth simply by speaking!
The Spirit confirms, there will be no more delays! What we say will instantly and immediately take place in the outer realms! Keep on persevering in speaking the Word!
5. We will show God’s ways to as many people as possible.
It is the light that will bring them out of darkness and the Word will also shine this world. So that all the falsehoods and lies of the devil will be exposed and humiliated by us. What the world believes in we will turn into trash!
So that many people will begin to see the true glory of God and walk in God’s ways. God’s Word will overturn the beliefs of this world! Hallelujah!
