Talking about the death of flesh and of self is an unpleasant thing and should be avoided. Our hearts are more enthusiastic when we talk about preparations that will bring us together with opportunities to have more impact, to be on the stage of glory, and blessings that position us to be influential and respected people.

Personally, the Holy Spirit seemed to ‘give another direction’ within me. He emphasized for my heart to continue to prepare myself to meet the moments of ‘death from self’. That is a situation where we give up the right to be trusted, appreciated, respected, understood or unfairly treated. When we prepare our hearts for these moments, God’s divinity will emerge from within us. We can be grateful and even rejoice.

Romans 8:36-39 (NKJV) As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

2 Corinthians 2:14-17 (NKJV) Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us [a]diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

I believe these days and the days to come, God needs people who are PURE IN HEART. So that through them, God can move and make His voice heard without any mixture of humanity. So, there is no other way, every day the self and the flesh must continue to be crucified. So that it is no longer us who live, but Christ who lives in us!

Enjoy the moments of ‘death of flesh and self’. No need to rebel, just make sure we pass. Usually it is ‘not a promotion’ that we will experience, but rather ‘hanging on the cross’.

John 12:32-33 (NKJV) And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” This He said, signifying by what death He would die.

This He said to reveal how He would die.

But it is precisely behind that that we will experience Christ’s resurrection which becomes very real! There is an ever-increasing divinity, wonder, and glory within. Those are the various dimensions of God’s glory that will position us to be the means for the outpouring of the Spirit to occur on all flesh.

Consistency, that’s the keyword in a movement. The consistency of a message, the dynamics, and the intensity that we continue to maintain, inevitably will be a ‘concern’ today or in the future. There have been many ‘spiritual movements’ that lasted only a short time, many people followed but were not rooted in the Word, but…

Romans 4:17-18 (The Message) We call Abraham “father” not because he got God’s attention by living like a saint, but because God made something out of Abraham when he was a nobody. Isn’t that what we’ve always read in Scripture, God saying to Abraham, “I set you up as father of many peoples”? Abraham was first named “father”…
