This morning I was reminded again by the Holy Spirit to FOCUS on what God is saying. Because God is continuing to transmit waves of revival that require a very appropriate response. A FOCUSED attitude to continue to build life and align oneself with God’s Word is very important.

Switching focus or distraction is not always a bad thing, but often a good thing. Too many ideas can also be a distraction that makes us do many things so we never become sharp in one thing. Be careful and start focusing on what God has ordained. Our ability to catch and understand what God wants to do is very important. Failure to understand, will only keep us busy doing many things, looking productive, but not doing the will of the Father.

It takes courage to ask the Father “what we should do” with a selfless heart. Often, we come to the Father with many ‘logical’ life ideas according to ourselves and ask the Father to bless them. As a result, we just live life according to what the world wants. In fact, if we want to empty ourselves, then we can freely be used by the Holy Spirit to declare His miraculous deeds, both godly deeds and demonstrations of God’s power.

Let’s pay attention to the book of Acts, where the Holy Spirit reveals His miraculous deeds through people who empty themselves and focus on doing only what God commands. The Spirit takes over their lives and uses them freely! They manage not to be distracted by anything. By focusing on doing what God has ordered precisely, so that the Holy Spirit will fall on them!

Acts 1:4-5, 14 (NKJV) (4) And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; (5) for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” (14) These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

Acts 2:1-3 (NKJV) When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.

The attitude of FOCUS and SELFLESSNESS is what we must pay attention to and have. Ask the Holy Spirit for a strong focus and a selfless heart. It is a divinity that only belongs to and can be obtained from the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 7:7-8 (NKJV) “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

When we empty ourselves and are filled with His will and then focus on doing only what the Father wants, automatically our lives are like gloves that will be filled by the Holy Spirit to demonstrate His divinity and power on this earth.

The book of Acts is not over yet but it is continuing with our story together with the Holy Spirit who is presenting the greatest Movement of all time! Our part is being SELFLESS AND FOCUSED!
