The Holy Spirit spoke the following things to me:
1. There is one sentence that keeps echoing in my mind: “Practice stronger and go deeper”.
I know exactly this is talking about ‘building a spiritual man’. The Spirit seems to confirm that there is a measure of God’s glory that I will enter. It will make me know Him properly. I will make sure that the power of focus and a heart that truly loves Him will always grow rapidly.
2. Continue to build the mentality of a soldier and an athlete who continue to practice even though there is no war.
1 Timothy 4:8 (Indonesian Simple Translation 3) Compared to bodily exercise profits a little, the benefits of spiritual exercise are immeasurable, for it brings blessings to both the present life and the life to come. ‘Spiritual exercise’ is to live a life that is more pleasing in God’s eyes.
3. God reveals His promises to me.
I can feel God’s voice which is full of certainty and very gentle but strong and full of great love. The sound thrilled my heart.
Regardless of whatever God’s promises are, one thing I ask of Him is the knowledge of God and a more and more measure of the reality of His presence. He can use anyone and anything in a very powerful way, but I am ‘not interested in that’, because I only want to know Him and be one with His existence so that it is no longer me who lives, but Christ.
Philippians 3:10-11 (NKJV) that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11 if, by any means, I may attain[a] to the resurrection from the dead.
Galatians 2:20 (NKJV) I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Hopefully in the new year, the eyes of our hearts can continue to be fixed only on Him and the fulfillment of His plan. Amen.
