Proverbs 18:20-21 (NKJV) A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; from the produce of his lips he shall be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Sometimes we are familiar with the Scripture verses above, even though these verses are very ‘close’ to our daily lives. If our mouths always speak the Word, we are automatically inviting the divine life to come. Those are the various spiritual dimensions that will condition us to walk in God’s ways.

On the other hand, if we continue to use our mouths to curse, release resentment and anger, various dimensions of evil spirits will come. They will steal, kill, and destroy our lives. Even our lives will be conditioned as in the ‘desert’ where there is no life, there is only spiritual dryness!

To change our living conditions in the desert or experience spiritual dryness and even continue to be under pressure from evil spirits, we need to use our mouths to speak. Pray in the spirit, pray the verses of the Word, and declare every impression with all your heart, soul and strength until our spirits are excited! It’s the only way to change the ‘desert’ in our lives.

Isaiah 40:3-5 (NKJV) The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; the crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth; the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Isaiah 51:3 (NKJV) For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness will be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody.

Never take for granted living conditions that are suppressed by anything! That’s not normal! Take a firm stance by using our mouths to speak the Word, God’s promises and pray in tongues expressively. Do all that until our spirits are burning again and until the stream of worship flows profusely.

Our mouth determines what kind of life we live, like in the Desert or the Garden of Eden? The decision is in our hands. Make sure we use our mouths to return to life in the Garden of Eden: Full of cheers, joy and thanksgiving!
