Life is always stronger than death, just as light where there is light darkness must be removed. But the problem is that so far “our belief” has always exaggerated ‘powerless death’. As a result, there are many deadly works that undermine our lives because of ‘our wrong beliefs’.

Remember, death has never won against FAITH! Even in the old testament Enoch, Moses, and Elijah had defeated death. Especially we who are in the post-death and resurrection of Christ, our death should be swallowed easily in victory! Because death has been conquered by Christ!!

The phrase “Life is always stronger than death” continues to speak powerfully within me. The Holy Spirit directed me to see the event when ‘little Jesus defeated death’.

Matthew 2:1, 13, 19-20 (NKJV) Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.” Now when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the young Child’s life are dead.”

That’s the story of the ‘sadistic killer’ which is not at all interesting, where a killer actually dies even the ‘those’ assigned to kill also die. What a tragic story for the killers. Jesus, who was the target of assassination, continued to live and grow to complete the will of the Father.

We only need to learn from Joseph and Mary, who simply heard God speak, believed and obeyed. In other words, they continued to experience the work of the Spirit and the Word that made their spirit stirred up (there is an abundant life of God). That is the existence of Jesus Himself as the Word who came to give abundant life.

John 10:10 (NKJV) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Really at this moment I seem to have the momentum to recall God’s powerful message that was heard in the congregation some time ago, namely: DEATH IS SWALLOWED IN VICTORY!!

The Word is what has made us firm until now and has made us lifted up by God to rise above the existing crisis waves. We must also maintain the same Word coming back and the same lifestyle (building spiritual people). Because that’s what will make us victorious in all aspects at any time and situation!
