I want to continue to live life with the highest level of love for God, that is, with all my heart, soul and strength. I want to focus on that, so that whatever is a ‘requirement’, is no longer burdensome, but becomes a great ‘joy’ in doing whatever He wants.

John 14:21 (NKJV) He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

So far, when we read the story of Abraham sacrificing Isaac, we always interpret it with a ‘sad’ meaning, as if Abraham had a hard time doing it. But it is very clear in the verse above that the cause of God revealing Himself to Abraham was because he loved Him and did what He commanded.

Then the question arises, why did Isaac ‘will’ when he was about to be ‘sacrificed’?

John 14:31 (NKJV) But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do. Arise, let us go from here.

The verse above confirms, because of ‘love’, Isaac was willing to be sacrificed because Isaac loved Abraham!

From the explanation above, there are two things that the Holy Spirit ‘highlights’ in my life: The first is to love God, and the second is to love my spiritual parents who indeed carry patterns and mandates from God.

So, this morning I ask the Father to continue to add more and more levels of love for God and spiritual parents. This is the key to a life that pleases God. Thus, He who reveals Himself to spiritual parents will also reveal Himself to me, so that I become similar to Him.

Isaac was blessed by God extraordinarily because of his obedience, but what I’m interested in is becoming similar to Christ, what I’m interested in is having an encounter with God, what I’m interested in is knowing and uniting with Him. I want to guard a heart that loves God more than anything else! Amen!

For so long, the churches in Indonesia place their Christian center on the churches in America, so it is not surprising that many churches in Indonesia perform the same things on the stage. Such as the multimedia display with music concerts standard, preachers with celebrity looks, and ‘demonstrations of anointing’ that amaze the congregation. There…

In contemplation at night, I let my mind question and answer freely about life, and at the same time, I opened my heart for the Holy Spirit to give me understanding: 1. Why does life have many mysteries? It is like unexpected bad events may happen, even hard to predict. Truly, there is not a…

Don’t take for granted the devotion and reading of the Word with a heart that is thirsty and hungry for the reality of God, as well as praying and declaring verses of the Word. Because all of that will build awareness: 1. That God’s Word is not just ‘words’, but is a PERSON. So, when…
