Seeing the Goodness of God in all Circumstances

There are several verses that pop up in my heart:

Genesis 1:31 (NKJV) Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Jeremiah 29:11-14 (NKJV) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.

Matthew 7:7-11 (NKJV) “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

From reading the verses above, there is a conviction that awakens in my heart:

  1. God has set the days of our lives ‘VERY GOOD’.

This should be our perception. So, we ‘never take bad circumstances for granted’. Of course, we should be grateful in all circumstances, but that doesn’t mean we consider bad things to come from God. Remember, He is a good Father! He has indeed planned all good things for us.

  1. Be assured, that all the bad things that happen are not the end, but the Father will turn things around to bring goodness into our lives.

Realize, the Father’s plan is much stronger than the devil’s plan. It is His plan that will definitely be fulfilled. Life is much stronger than death. Where there is life, death must be eliminated.

John 10:10 (NKJV) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Romans 8:28 (NKJV) And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

  1. Remember, the God we serve is our Father.

So, knowing the Father is very important. He is not the Father who is in heaven, because heaven is in Him. He is in us. Our part as children is to love and obey Him.

John 14:23 (NKJV) Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

He is not far, He is within us. So, when we pray even in everyday life, we can naturally feel His real reality. That’s our only strength. We are on earth not to survive, but to rule and reign. Because our Father is the King of kings!!

Use our mouths to say what we believe. So that, as the power of the Word that comes out of the mouth of the Father is able to create what doesn’t exist, and what is impossible becomes possible, that’s what we will experience.

Once again, the power of prayer will pour out in a very real way through our lives, His children. We will experience negative facts and data will turn out to be VERY GOOD!!
