Walking on Water: Embracing the Power of the Word

The imagination of Jesus walking on water in the midst of raging storm keeps popping in my mind. And the Holy Spirit makes me see more clearly that the walking of Jesus on water cannot be judged by human logic. Because it will never be logical at all. Even though He walked on water and the water changed into solid element, still it would be very slippery.

So, to walk on water calmly without any fear of falling is impossible. At least, we would be very cautious when walking. It is impossible we can stroll normally like people who is walking on plain ground. So, we can be sure that there is another element as Jesus’ physical footstool that became His footstool which is the Word.

The Holy Spirit assures in my heart, JUST HOLD ON TO THE WORD:

  1. Make sure that we pray every day until we RECEIVE THE WORD. then imagine, declare and write down the word, until our body can feel the touch of the reality of the word evidently.
  2. Read the Bible by asking the Holy Spirit to REVEAL UNDERSTANDING, then imagine again and declare the Word, until we feel our body experiencing the coverage of the reality of the Word evidently.
  3. MEDITATE ON THE WORD in your heart and mind in your daily life. Until our minds are carried away by the truth of the Word, there is a knowing of God that is getting stronger and more solid!
  4. BECOME DOERS OF THE WORD, the main thing is, what God says, that’s all we do with a state of heart that loves Him.

Luke 6:46-49 (NIV) “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”

I believe, in the days ahead, even though the world will be more volatile, we will walk on the Word that makes our lives unshakable even more in a state of heart that is full of peace and joy. Amen!

The Holy Spirit reminded me of Psalm 91, but this time in the dimension of GOD’S FAITHFULNESS, which is trusting Him as a FAITHFUL FIGURE. When we know Him as a faithful figure, we will experience a very evident manifestation of His faithfulness. This is INDISPUTABLE, because even when we are not faithful, He still…

Life is always stronger than death, just as light where there is light darkness must be removed. But the problem is that so far “our belief” has always exaggerated ‘powerless death’. As a result, there are many deadly works that undermine our lives because of ‘our wrong beliefs’. Remember, death has never won against FAITH!…

In the journey of life, the Holy Spirit teaches me: “Don’t run beyond the measure of faith’ that has been built, because God is never in a rush. He enjoys every growth process, and patiently shapes us by the work of the Spirit and the Word, until what He desires is manifested in us. Keep…
