1 Samuel 1:26-28 (NET) She said, “Just as surely as you are alive, my Lord, I am the woman who previously stood here with you in order to pray to the Lord. I prayed for this boy, and the Lord has given me the request that I asked of him. Now I dedicate him to the Lord. From this time on he is dedicated to the Lord.” Then they worshiped the Lord there.
The sentence “I prayed for this boy” deeply scratched my heart as well as ignited the fire of the spirit of prayer within me. So strong has the belief been built that the Samuel generation is being born through our prayers. It is certainly not an ordinary prayer, but a prayer that we ponder and focus on so that the words of life that have the power to create waves of revival flow.
I focus my prayers, particularly for the youth. I am certain, The Samuel generation will become the measure against generation Z so that through their existence all iniquity will end. The Samuel generation is people who love God and His presence, is extremely thirsty for the truth, and constantly carries the Word of God as their identity and ‘weapon’ in their battle!
1 Samuel 3:19-21 (NASB1995) Thus Samuel grew and the Lord was with him and let none of his words fail. All Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was confirmed as a prophet of the Lord. And the Lord appeared again at Shiloh, because the Lord revealed Himself to Samuel at Shiloh by the word of the Lord.
1. THE SAMUEL GENERATION WILL ALWAYS BE WITHIN GOD’S REALITY.
Their habitat is the reality of God, so they will be rooted and grow rapidly in Him. They would never want to live outside their true habitat. Whatever they do to stay focused on living in God’s reality. They will thoroughly fight any distractions or intrusions that want to pull them out of their focus on God. They will never stop praying before the reality of God’s presence becomes so real!
2. THE WORD OF GOD PERSISTS IN THEIR MOUTH.
This signifies unbroken connectedness. Wherever and whenever, they are able to catch what is the voice of God. Two-way communication is always very well-established. The Samuel generation will always receive the Word from God’s throne room every day!
This is what keeps them from being swayed by the many ever-changing currents of ‘teachings and trends’. They can state their attitude of truth and divine nature boldly and firmly!
3. THEY WILL DEMONSTRATE THE POWER OF GOD BY THE WORDS OF THEIR MOUTHS.
When they speak the Word, something has to happen! They will move with a remarkably strong prophetic dimension and numerous gifts of the Spirit will also be with them.
4. THEY WILL GROW IN SPIRITUAL POSITION.
Even though they are young they carry divine authority. They dare to be different in this crooked generation! They have a spiritual position that is unreachable by current trends, instead, they carry a different current.
The flowing water is fresh, clear, and contains divine life that can strengthen and heal from mental illness in these last days. What they say will carry weight and power to create what is not there, and what is impossible becomes possible.
Therefore, we need people who focus on praying for this generation and devote their lives to this generation. I believe, FOCUS has the POWER to roll out revival! Hallelujah!!
