1 Timothy 1:1-2 (NKJV) Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the commandment of God our Savior and the Lord Jesus Christ, our hope, to Timothy, a true son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

The verse above is the initial sentence of a letter that really inflames my heart. I try to imagine what it was like for Timothy, who was still very young to lead the Ephesus congregation, who were ‘movement figures’ who once shook Asia! This is not an easy matter, because it takes faith, strong self-confidence, and the grip of God’s reality that envelops the mind and heart in carrying out the tasks at hand.

Paul as the spiritual father of Timothy not only wants to provide support, but legitimacy and confidence so that he can continue to carry out his calling. Notice, Paul emphasized that he was an apostle of Christ Jesus according to God’s commandment. With one goal so that Timothy realizes Paul’s spiritual authority and position as an apostle appointed by Christ. So, Timothy didn’t need to doubt the message given by Paul. The apostle must be multiplying the apostle. Timothy was convinced by Paul that he had the same DNA, he even added that Timothy was his legitimate son in faith who was definitely accompanied by God.

I imagine that when Timothy read this letter in a state of depression, he immediately rose in the power of the Spirit and was on fire again. He was again perfectly connected to heaven’s frequency, so that he was again solidified to continue to carry out God’s will!

Of course, the sentence above is only a fragment of the divine impartation contained in Paul’s letter to Timothy which awakens a divine passion in his life. From this I learned something, how important the existence of the apostolic father is in our lives. This generation needs the existence of the father as a wise master builder!

1 Corinthians 3:10 (NKJV) According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.

I’m sure, God is gathering ‘the Timothies’ to be under the protection of the true apostolic fathers. They shall be molded and reshaped into arrows ready to go to war destroying the enemy’s work upon cities and nations. They will represent the divine pattern and the reality of the kingdom with great authority and power!

Revelation 12:5 (NKJV) She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.
