Ephesians 4:23 (KJV) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

We need to train the nature of our mind so that it is directed to the things of the Spirit (starting from disciplining the mind).  Because the tendency of our thoughts determines what dimension of spirit will come into us.

Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭23‬ ‭(ERV‬‬) Above all, be careful what you think because your thoughts control your life.

‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬ ‭(NASB1995‬‬) For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.

I discovered, when we are unwavering in meditating on the Word, there will come a time when our minds go ‘auto-pilot’ to dig into the Word. The same thing as when our minds are used to thinking negative things, somehow our minds think of bad things uncontrollably.

These days, it is important for us to give ourselves time to allow our minds (that have been controlled by the Spirit) to continue to contemplate the Word of God.

Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭5‬ ‭(NIV‬‬) Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭9‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬) But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

‭‭Make time for devotional time and quietly follow the direction of the mind that’s controlled by The Spirit that continues to give Words that will become faith! This is the process of contemplating the Word that should be, not as a compulsion but as a joy (becomes the nature of our thoughts).

If our minds already have these characteristics, then we will be hard to conquer. Every time the enemy works desperately to pull us away from His will, there is always the ability to defeat all the distractions of the enemy, so that we can always rise back up and with our heads held high fulfill God’s will! For it is no longer we who live, but Christ. It is no longer our minds, but the minds of Christ that rule and reign!
