People who don’t deal with their wounds because of the collision in life in the past will always carry the aura of conflict that makes them in a lot of conflict with people around them. Small things that actually shouldn’t matter, will become a big issue. That is the manifest of someone who is hurt, always feels hurt by the behavior, attitude and action of others.
The problem above looks minor and is considered ‘natural’. It’s only human, it’s normal to be hurt, angry, disappointed – that’s the assumption of the mold of the world that has been shaping many lives of believers. Imagine, if this thing is never resolved then God’s agenda will be slowed down by ‘dealing’ with people whose lives are incomplete. Our energy is drained not for God’s will, but to handle people in conflict. That is not God’s will for us.
So, can’t help it, we must be aware that we are no longer ordinary people, but God’s people who have been born by the Spirit and come from the truth. Where our old life has already passed or is dead and our life that we live now is living by faith. This means that our entire being is naturally fulfilled by the work of the Spirit and the Word every day.
Once again the Spirit confirms, don’t think of it as ‘natural’ to have a conflicted heart. That is the work of evil spirits who really want to make us into personage that transfers bitterness! These spirits are constantly working in our daily lives. When we consider anger and disappointment as something normal, then that’s when we are ‘drinking bitter water from this world’.
Revelation 8:10-11 (TSI3) The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky. The star fell on one-third of the rivers and the springs. the name of the star is Bitterness. And one-third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.
The Samaritan woman is a picture of a person who has experienced many collisions in life, disappointments, and rejections in such a way that have happened to her. She had many husbands and was the scorn of society. There was a severe mental breakdown. It has become the Father’s agenda for Jesus or the Word to set the woman free.
John 4:4-7 (NIV) Now he had to go through Samaria. So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son Joseph. Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon. When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?”
Do an examination in ourselves. What kind of stream that is actually flowing in our lives ? If we find that there are still lots of flows of hatred and resentment and bitterness that never stops, then this is the right time to experience deliverance. Don’t take this condition for granted and don’t drink from that water again! It was a stream of death!
Direct our lives to the figure of the Holy Spirit. He will lead us to experience freedom from numerous inner conflicts!
1.He will lead us to have repentance (full awareness that hatred or bitterness is a sin that must be left behind), and give us a new heart, full of love of the Father who has forgiven all our mistakes.
2.Teaches us to manifest a forgiving nature and guides us to speak using the correct words, where these words contain life that delivers the lives of many people.
3.The Spirit will give us a heart that thirsts and hungers for His Word and reality, so from within we will always prioritize relationship or fellowship with God. There is a strong determination to ensure that every day there are streams of living water always flowing profusely. There is an awareness of the reality of God that grabs the mind very firmly. When God becomes evident in our hearts and minds, there is no room for bitterness.
For quiet some time there are many churches that continues to maintain the hearts of people who are full of inner conflict in motivational ways (drinking the water from this world), but now is the time for people to meet the living Word.
Where God’s voice from the throne room will set them free and make them follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit who provides a spring of water full of truth, peace, and joy that continues that never ends to radiate !
This is the time for us to emerge as children of God who bring peace in a world full of conflicts! That is the difference between us and this world. God will distinguish us, and others will see and have an encounter with the King of Peace through us, children of God! They will see and want our life that is full with true happiness!
