In Ps Steven Agustinus’ daily devotions these past few days, we are discussing the impact of the work of the Word and the Spirit in the lives of those whom God is preparing to become revivalists.

THE POWER OF THE WORD AND SPIRIT WILL:

1. BUILD OUR SELF-IDENTITY IN CHRIST.

2. BRING US TO LIVE TO EMPTY OURSELVES AS CHRIST HAS DONE WHEN HE WAS ON EARTH.

3. BRING US TO LIVE IN COMPLETELY CONNECTED AND DEPENDENT ON THE FATHER, JUST LIKE CHRIST.

The work of the Word and the Spirit in the life of a believer will open a ‘secret access’ that will bring him to have a connectedness or knowledge of the Father exceptionally.

If one still has to convince himself about God’s goodness and faithfulness, I think that means that inside his heart, there is still a bit of doubt or disbelief in God who will act and answer his prayers. Mostly, these people will continue to try to convince themselves in the hope that all the doubts or uncertainties in their minds can be overcome or removed.

For those who are being built to become revivalists, the work of the Word and the Spirit will bring them to know more and more about Father in depth so that they know with certainty that the Father we come near in the name of Jesus is the One who can never break His promises. He has enough power to fulfill His Words, no matter how impossible the reality is to be conquered. The more difficult it seems for the fulfillment of the Word according to the human perspective, the more powerful the miracle we will experience

Romans‬ ‭4‬:‭18‬-‭21‬ ‭(NIV‬‬) Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.
‭‭
The Spirit and the Word will lead us to continue to grow in the true knowledge of the Father personally. The time will come when we demonstrate numerous miracles and wonders, no longer with ‘great faith’ (the various miracles that happen in our lives are no longer due to the factor of faith that we have), but based on ‘knowledge’ of what the Father will do in the lives of certain people who interact with us.

The Father indeed wants us to do something that will result in myriad breakthroughs, healings, miracles, and wonders. We speak Words taught by the Holy Spirit Himself because we hear the Father speaking within us.

John‬ ‭5‬:‭19‬ ‭(NIV‬‬) Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.”
‭‭
Keep praying, imagining, and declaring the verses of the Word that the Holy Spirit continues to reveal prophetically in our midst. That is the secret access that keeps us always in the throne room – in close fellowship with the Father.
