It requires a strong determination and sharp focus that aims to the work of the Word and Spirit to maintain personal revival (ensuring our spirit is burning in the love of God). This is our personal responsibility regardless of the numerous busyness or profession but our true identity is the priests.

1 Peter 2:9 (NIV) : But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

I understand more, if we can build and maintain the revival within, then this will be a forerunner of a revival of a nation. But I also realize, not everyone is willing to carry out this task and responsibility. Because it is not easy to do. But I am determined to do it, because there must be people who are willing to do the calling in full awareness of his identity which is the temple of Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 3:16 (NIV) : Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?

Isaiah 66:6-7 (NIV) Hear that uproar from the city, hear that noise from the temple! It is the sound of the Lord repaying his enemies all they deserve. “Before she goes into labor, she gives birth; before the pains come upon her, she delivers a son.

Imagine, if that spiritual responsibility is carried out by a group of people with the same spirit, goal and agenda, surely the explosion of revival that would happen upon the city and nation would be spectacular.

Exodus 34:10 (NIV) Then the Lord said: “I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the Lord, will do for you.

Not everyone wants to keep on guarding the flames of revival by focusing and consistently contemplating the Word, praying in tongues and declaring the word until the spirit is blazing! But I feel, God has called His people from the throne room! How many there is whose eyes of their hearts are opened to listen and see and do this calling, they are the people that God will use to roll out, maintain and add the explosive force of the revival there is. Amen!
