Isaiah 40:3-5 (TLB) Listen! I hear the voice of someone shouting, “Make a road for the Lord through the wilderness; make him a straight, smooth road through the desert. Fill the valleys; level the hills; straighten out the crooked paths, and smooth off the rough spots in the road. The glory of the Lord will be seen by all mankind together.” The Lord has spoken—it shall be.
(It will surely happen)
When I returned to pray the verse above, I got several impressions:
1. ‘Hearing’ God’s voice clearly is an important thing that should function well among believers.
Because God’s voice or His Word will determine our life, identity, and role and function in Him! If we are not in heaven’s frequency, then our lives will definitely miss God’s will and plan.
So, how important it is for us to align our heart’s inclinations in the midst of a world that continues to offer various desires that make the focus of our lives deviate from God!
I found that the alignment of the inclinations of the heart is very important. We need to ask the Holy Spirit for a pure heart that loves the reality of God’s presence alone.
We can use the Scripture verses below to become prayer material:
Genesis 33:15-16 (NKJV) And Esau said, “Now let me leave with you some of the people who are with me.” But he said, “What need is there? Let me find favor in the sight of my lord.” So Esau returned that day on his way to Seir.
Philippians 3:10-11 (NKJV) that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.
Problems often arise because there are too many desires, if we only have one desire, which is to unite with Him, then it is certain that in whatever condition the reality of the kingdom of heaven becomes real to us (full of liberating righteousness, peace, and joy that is carried out by the Spirit Holy).
When the inclination of our hearts is straight and pure before God, then automatically God’s voice will be clearly heard guiding our lives to walk in accurate righteousness.
2. I feel that there is a ‘GREAT PROJECT’ that God wants to carry out through the work of the Spirit and the Word to make His people a means and foundation for the invasion of His kingdom on this earth, as well as a portal for various miraculous deeds of God!
Exodus 34:10 (NKJV) And He said: “Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.
I can feel in the Spirit, when that great deed is getting closer and bursts into the outer realm to attract people’s attention to experience the NEED of GOD! So that there will be many people who pursue God’s reality and experience encounters with Him personally!
Suddenly I saw a garden of Eden in the desert. Full of glory and splendor of God’s presence! But the garden is also like a city, and I heard a cry from it: This is the city of God.
I can feel that the city is filled with the reality of God, which is very thick and very strong, even very dense, so that it creates an intense fear of God! I’m sure, that’s our existence as believers who are GOD’S TABERNACLE on this earth!
Revelation 21:1-4 (NKJV) Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
3. There is an alignment of God’s purpose and agenda.
God’s people will be brought in by the Holy Spirit to be in the center of God’s will, and do His will. The focus and the whole life of God’s people is being conditioned by the Spirit to do His will.
Those who are indifferent because they feel that they are safe (blessed) will suddenly be shaken because they experience various shocks. This condition will be used by the Holy Spirit to draw focus and re-awaken His people to do God’s will again!
Walking with God and doing His will is the only way to live in God’s strength and not be shaken, because there is no other way!
John 4:34 (NKJV) Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.
Matthew 4:4 (NKJV) But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
The FOUNDATION ALIGNMENT period is being done by the Holy Spirit upon His people! Our part is to obey with joy what the Spirit is doing!
